Gardening on the North Shore

The Lago Vista Garden Club's mission is to stimulate knowledge and a love for gardening through education and community projects while working to create and restore beauty to our community located on the North of Shore of Lake Travis.  The Lago Vista Garden Club is a local 501.3C non-profit organization.

The Lago Vista Garden Club was founded in 1974 after a group of individuals decided to turn their shared interests into an official Garden Club. We've grown a lot since then and so has our list of projects and events. Our projects include the LV Elementary Garden, the Butterfly Garden at K-Oaks Club House, our annual Blue Santa Tea, and more.

At our monthly meetings we enjoy food and fellowship with our fellow gardeners, and we always learn something new and helpful from our guest speakers. These local gardening experts present information on a variety of subjects related to gardening from proper planting and pruning to attracting pollinators and deterring pests, to propagating plants and arranging flowers.

LVGC meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month September – May at 11:45 at the K-Oaks Clubhouse located at 7000 Bar-K Road in Lago Vista. To learn more about our club and how to become a member please visit our FaceBook page or email us. We would love for you to join us!
